I am suddenly highly wanted today. I had three different men ask me out today. I turned down all three of course, since I am, after all, going to stop dating until I meet a guy FRIEND and then date him after some time of friendship if we like each other.
Or maybe that won't happen. However, I am quite proud of myself for such self control.
At work yesterday, a woman and her daughter came in and got drinks. Her daughter ordered a Shaken Passion Tea Lemonade. About thirty minutes later, the woman and her daughter returned with the drink (which probably only had two sips taken from it) and started yelling at me because her daughter's drink was "too watery." I looked at the drink and thought, to myself, "Well. You see ma'am, in order to cool the drink so it's not gross, we put ice cubes in it. And, as I learned in my first year of life on this planet called Earth, ice cubes melt into water, since they are frozen water, after all. So, your daughter, who obviously has barely touched the drink, is simply complaining about the ice melting, which is something I cannot control. Perhaps, if we made ice cubes out of milk, it wouldn't be so bad."
But instead, I simply remade the drink. -Beckie
