Added 2007-11-05 @ 5:05 p.m.. Quote: Reading: Watching: Today, I had my academic advising for second semester. My Creative Drama professor, who basically decides whether or not you can become a teacher at the end of the program, advised me and told me the following: 1. You're a great teacher so far. 2. You're developing well. 3. You have to make sure you get a 4.0 for the first few semesters. 4. I want you to take my super hard class, Theatre for Young Audiences as a freshman and teach elementary school students. 5. Declare a minor if you want. I told her I wanted to declare a history minor and she told me to go for it. So I did. As of today, I am a Theatre Arts with an Emphasis in Secondary Education major with a minor in History. Basically, I thought declaring a minor was a lot harder, but really all I had to do was go into an office and scream "I DECLARE: HISTORY!" The Office fans know what I'm talking about. I filled out a sheet of paper and there I was. History minor. Right now, it looks like I am taking 17 hours next semester, which is two more than this current semester. I have to take THEA 100, which is basically a class that requires me to finish 90 hours of work outside of classes in the theatre department. Ew. But I have to do it at least once. I'll do it. I'm super excited about being a history minor. Yay! - Beckie
