We get to the check-in and they can't find our tickets. Strange, huh? So we go to a self-check in kiosk and type in our confirmation number and, according to their records, we are supposed to leave on the 19th, which is Wednesday, but according to our records, we are scheduled to leave today. So now, Luke and I are sitting in an airport with no tickets. We have no way of leaving here for a while, so we're just chilling in Denver International Airport. We tried to go standby - nope. We tried to rebook our tickets - nope, unless we have $400+ each. We tried everything. The lady said we couldn't do anything except buy new tickets. Finally, we talked to my Aunt, who works for United (who we were flying under) and she said she would run up and check our flight (the one we were supposed to be one). Two minutes after our flight ended, she called and said, "There were three empty seats on that flight." We were pissed at this point. So then Luke was on the phone with Priceline (who we booked through) and they claim we signed for the 19th (which we didn't). The itinerary I sent my family members said the 17th, and priceline and united were both trying to blame it on us. So I'm sitting there crying out of frustration and Luke is frantically trying to find a way out. Finally, he said, "Fuck it." and went back to the United ticket line and got another woman, who actually cared, and found us a flight for tomorrow that was a little cheaper than our flight, but we still had to pay the remaining rebooking fee (which was $33 each, much cheaper). And we got seats together, but we have to sit in the emergency exit row (a little unnerving, but if it gets us on the flight.) So overall, we are leaving late, but early. But in reality, it was bullshit. We found another pair who were supposed to fly on the same plane at the same time on the same day to the same place who also had their tickets switched behind their back. So we think Priceline overbooked our flight and then moved us without telling us. Or some kind of bullshit. Oh well, at least the WiFi is free. - Beckie
