Today at work, we were out of White Mocha, Caramel Sauce, Lemonade, and Light Frappuccino Base. And of course, White mocha, caramel sauce, and lemonade are ingredients in some of our most popular drinks. So, for example, when someone would come in and order a white mocha latte and find out we are out, I would receive a very dirty look and a brushed off "Well. Fine." And the customer would storm out, as if it were my fault that our order of syrups and the such got lost. Anyway, Seattle (a.k.a Starbucks HQ) felt terrible about our lost order, which apparently disappeared somewhere between Dallas and Denver, and had an order shipped immediately to us. It consisted of five crates of that pre-bottled "frappuccino" crap, 15 boxes of prepackaged tea, 20 boxes of soy milk, one box of white mocha, 5 boxes of caramel sauce, 1 box of lemonade, but no espresso beans (which we ran out of at the end of my shift. we started using whole bean coffee, ew). Our order was so wrong. And huge. I think some giant Starbucks in Dallas got our tiny order and we got their huge order.
Anyway, I have this cool new thing on my diary. It's called Hab.la. The button is right over underneath all that "About Me" stuff. Just click on it and you will instantly be patched to me (if I am on my instant messaging software). It's pretty cool. ^-^
